Finalists for this year’s Hugo Awards, the Lodestar Award for young adult book, and the Astounding Award for best new writer, have been announced. Winners will be announced at this year’s World Science Fiction Convention Glasgow 2024, on August 11, 2024.

Chesley Awards winners, for art works published in 2022, were announced March 29th. They include works by Manzi Jackson (for the cover of Africa Risen), Luisa Preissler, and Tehani Farr.

The Philip K. Dick Award, for original paperback published in the US, was also announced March 29th. The winner is These Burning Stars by Bethany Jacobs.

The British Science Fiction Association Awards, for works published in 2023, were announced March 30th. Winners include Juliet McKenna, P. Djèlí Clark, and Adrian Tchaikovsky.

Finalists for this year’s Aurealis Awards, for Australian science fiction, fantasy, and horror published in 2023, have been announced. Winners will be announced in May.

The winner of this year’s Crawford Award, presented by the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts (IAFA) for a first book of fantasy fiction, is Vajra Chandrasekera’s The Saint of Bright Doors. The award was announced earlier this month, and presented at the IAFA Conference in Orlando FL last weekend.

Finalists for this year’s Ray Bradbury Award, presented by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association in association with the Nebula Awards, have been announced. The winner will be announced at the 2024 Nebula Conference and Awards, to be held June 6-9, 2024 at the Westin Pasadena in Pasadena CA.

Also, the winner of this year’s SFWA Grand Master Award, Susan Cooper, is now posted here; her selection was announced in February.
