Winners of this year’s Hugo Awards, the Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book, and the Astounding Award for Best New Writer were announced yesterday, August 11, in Glasgow, at the 82nd World Science Fiction Convention.

The ballot for this year’s Dragon Awards has been announced. Winners will be announced at Dragon Con in Atlanta, August 29 – Sept 2.

Winners of this year’s Mythopoeic Awards, announced August 4 at Mythcon 53 in Minneapolis, are works by Emma Törzs, Francis Hardinge, K. L’Neill, José María Miranda Boto, and Matthew Sangster.

Finalists for this year’s Ignyte Awards, for works that celebrate inclusivity and diversity in science fiction, fantasy, and horror, were announced July 22nd. Public voting for the winners is open through August 31st, and winners will be announced in November.
