Finalists for this year’s Mythopoeic Awards, for fiction and scholarship of mythopoeic literature, were announced June 3. Winners will be announced at Mythcon 53, to be held August 2-5, 2024 in Minneapolis MN. This year’s ballot adds a fifth category, for Children’s Literature.

Winners of this year’s Bram Stoker Awards include novels by Tananarive Due, Christa Carmen, Lora Senf, and Trang Thanh Tran; fiction by Ai Jiang and Cindy O’Quinn; a collection by Gemma Files; an anthology by Jordan Peele & John Joseph Adams, and other works; plus Lifetime Achievement Awards to Mort Castle, Cassandra Peterson, and Steve Rasnic Tem.

Finalists for this year’s Arthur C. Clarke Award, for best SF novel published in the UK in 2023, have been announced. All are first-time finalists for this award. The winner will be announced July 24, 2024.
