Special Award
Note that, despite having only the first part of its serialization published in the 1965 eligibility year, Heinlein's The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress was on the ballot in 1966. The convention committee allowed it on the ballot again in 1967 on the grounds that most installments of the serial were dated 1966. This time it won.
