Winners of this year’s Locus Awards, determined by a poll of the magazine’s readers and announced yesterday, October 24, in Oakland, CA, include John Scalzi, R.F. Kuang, T. Kingfisher, Charlie Jane Anders, Ray Nayler, Becky Chambers, John Chu, Samantha Mills, anthologists Sheree Renée Thomas & Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki & Zelda Knight, Sam J. Miller, Ellen Datlow, Charles Vess, Rob Wilkins, and Neil Gaiman & Colleen Doran, along with publisher Tor and magazine Tor.com. A special award was given to the Carl Brandon Society.
