Winner of the Eugie Award will be announced at DragonCon; the Sturgeon winner will be announced at the Sturgeon Symposium in October. Two stories, by Naomi Kritzer and R.S.A. Garcia, are finalists for both awards.

        Winners of this year’s Shirley Jackson Awards, for works of horror, psychological suspense, and dark fantasy fiction, include Tananarive Due, LaToya Jordan, Eugenia Triantafyllou, Laura Blackwell, Gabriela Damián Miravete (translated by Adrian Demopulos), Jolie Toomajan, and Elizabeth Hand.

  < http://www.sfadb.com/Prometheus_Awards_2024 > This year’s winners of the Prometheus Awards, given to pro-freedom works by the Libertarian Futurist Society, are Daniel Suarez’ Critical Mass for best novel published in 2023, and Terry Pratchett’s The Truth, first published in 2000, as best classic fiction.
