Shortlisted titles for the second annual Ursula K. Le Guin Prize were announced July 22, 2023. Date and place for announcement of the winner have not been released.
Rebecca Campbell’s title was also a Philip K. Dick Award finalist. Khalid’s title was nominated for The Kitschies. Lemberg’s collection placed 8th in that category of the Locus Poll. Griffith’s novel was a Nebula finalist and placed 5th for fantasy novel in the Locus Poll. Jimenez’s novel won the Crawford/IAFA Fantasy Award, and is currently a finalist for the Ignyte Awards.
