< http://www.sfadb.com/Theodore_Sturgeon_Memorial_Award_2023 > This year’s finalists for the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award, given annually since 1987 for the best short science fiction story, have been announced. The winner will be announced in September 2023 at the second annual Sturgeon Symposium. Last year’s winner was “Broad Dutty Water: A Sunken Story” by Nalo Hopkinson.
